Spelling

I love that our libraries have DVD's to check out... free is always good! We try to do family movie night once a week. We all snuggle up on the couch together... Ainsley and Stewart are always hot and Little Bug and I are usually under the blanket. Last night we started watching this...

It's about a girl who tries out for a spelling bee... we got about half way into it when it was bedtime for the kiddos. As we were walking upstairs they both start, "Can you give me a word to spell?" We each give them words and they get ready for bed quickly and uneventful! I love when something we do catches their interest and they learn. One of the best parts of being a parent... it makes all the door slamming... backtalking... fit throwing events almost forgotten.
